ARCATA, Calif.--- Humboldt State's women's soccer team will be on the road for the final time this regular season this weekend. The Lumberjacks will be in Southern California for a pair of CCAA games at Cal Poly Pomona and Cal State San Bernardino this Friday and Sunday, October 25 and 27. HSU will be in Pomona for a 12:30pm match with Cal Poly Pomona on October 25. The Lumberjacks will travel to San Bernardino on Sunday, October 27 for a 11:30am match with Cal State San Bernardino.
RECAP OF LAST WEEKEND: The Lumberjacks went 1-1 over the weekend with a 2-1 loss to Cal State East Bay and a 1-0 overtime win over Cal State Monterey Bay. HSU started the weekend with a 2-1 loss to Cal State East Bay on Friday afternoon. The Pioneers took a 2-0 lead after the fifty minutes. The Lumberjacks scored their goal in the 82
nd minute on an unassisted goal by
Pikake Hix. The 'Jacks finished the weekend with a 1-0 overtime win over Cal State Monterey Bay.
Kendal Spencer connected on the golden goal in the 92
nd minute off a cross from
Kelsey Bess.
Katelin Talbert had seven saves en route to the shutout.
UPDATE ON THE LUMBERJACKS: Humboldt State enters this weekend with a 3-7-2 overall record and a 2-5 CCAA record.

UPDATE ON THE BRONCOS: Cal Poly Pomona enters this weekend with an 8-3-2 overall record and a 4-1-2 CCAA record. The Broncos went 0-0-2 last weekend with a 1-1 tie with Cal State Dominguez Hills and a scoreless double overtime with Cal State Los Angeles. Taylor Scott leads CPP with her seven goals, two assists with 16 points. She also leads the Broncos with her four game-winning goals. Allyssa Lankins CPP with her five assists to go with her two goals. Sydney Williams had posted a 0.44 goals against average with 40 saves and two shutouts. Cal Poly Pomona leads the all-time series with the Lumberjacks 7-5-1 but the Lumberjacks have won the last two meetings
UPDATE ON THE COYOTES: Cal State San Bernardino is 3-9-1 overall and 1-6 in the CCAA after going 1-1 last weekend. The Coyotes defeated Cal State Los Angeles 2-1 in double overtime, but lost 2-1 to Cal State Dominguez Hills. Vidalia Abarca leads the way with her three goals and two assists while Carly Luna has a 2.03 goals against average with 69 saves.
