This is chance for the Humboldt State University Lumberjack community to get to know our newest Lumberjacks. What is your major? Criminology/Administration of Justice Why did you choose to become a Lumberjack? I chose to become a Lumberjack because of the environment, the support of the community and we have a really good coach. What is your favorite book? Koby Bryant Muse What is your favorite movie? Coach Carter What is your favorite television show? The Marlon Show Who do you look up to? I look up to the Uncle Eric and Uncle Derek. Where do you want to be in ten years? In law enforcement, overseas or the NBA. What is your favorite athletic memory? Winning back to back championships in the Clipper Summer League. What do you most like about Humboldt State and the community? What I like most about Humboldt is the nature, trees, the forests, my coaches are awesome and being at Humboldt gives me a relaxing feeling.. What is your favorite childhood memory? I still have my first ever basketball jersey that I played in. Alex Haley, because he's been a great inspiration of my life. If you had a chance to meet one person, who would that person be? If you got to pick one place to go on vacation, where would that be? Do you have any pets, if so what are their names? I have a cane corso by the name of Soild. If you had a million dollars, what would be the first five things you would do with it? I would buy lots of property. What is your favorite subject in school and why? My favorite subject in school is History, because I can learn about my race and culture. What is your favorite song? I Tried So Hard by Akon. What is your favorite sports' team? Who is your favorite teacher and why? Rasheed Safir, he's been a great example and mainly the reason I chose law enforcement as a career. Have you learned any new skills or hobbies during COVID? Hiking and yes, yoga. When you have to stay inside and work out, what do you do? Push-ups, lot of abs' workouts and calisthenics.
