ARCATA, Calif--- Humboldt State men's soccer team will face Stanislaus State and Cal State East Bay in a pair of CCAA matches this weekend. The 'Jacks will conclude their three-match road trip this Thursday, October 14 with a 7pm match in Turlock against Stanislaus State. They will begin a three-match homestand this Sunday, October 17 at 2pm when they host Cal State East Bay at College Creek Field.

COACHING STAFF: Coach
Fred Jungemann is in his ninth year on the sideline for the Lumberjacks. This year, Coach Jungemann's assistants are three former Lumberjacks in
Frankie Calderon, Phil Rouse and
Isaiah Dairo who will begin their first year on the Lumberjack coaching staff.
LAST WEEK'S GAMES; The Lumberjacks went 0-1-1 last weekend on the road in the CCAA. They started the weekend with a 3-1 loss at Cal State Dominguez Hills on Friday in Carson.
Yushi Kato scored the goal for the 'Jacks in the sixth minute off a missed shot by
Nico Herrera Land. The 25th ranked Toros tied the game at 1-1 late in the first half and then scored two more goals in the final 20 minutes to secure the win.
Adrian Gallardo had six saves in goal for the 'Jacks. Humboldt State (6-2-2, 0-2-2 CCAA) played to its second tie of the season with a 1-1 double overtime tie at Cal State Monterey Bay. The Lumberjacks took a 1-0 lead late in the first half on a goal by
Christian Gonzalez off a corner kick from
Marco Silveira. The Otters tied the match at 1-1 early in the second half and the two teams played to a 1-1 tie. Gallardo had a season high 11 saves in goal for the 'Jacks.

Nico Herrera Land has four assists and Lopez has scored three goals.
Adrian Gallardo has posted a 0.53 goals against average with a .881 saves percentage, 37 saves and six shutouts.
CCAA: Four Lumberjacks are amongst the league leaders in CCAA statistics.
Marco Silveira leads the league in assists and is tied for first in game-winning goals while he is third in points.
Alex Lopez is tied for second in game-winning goals and tenth in points while
Nico Herrera Land is tied for fifth in assists.
Adrian Gallardo is tied for first with his six shutouts while he is second in goals against average, second in saves percentage, fourth in saves and fifth in saves per game.
MOVING CLOSER:
Marco Silveira is tied for second with Billy Hansen on HSU's all-time assist list with 21. Kevin Wiese holds the career record with 30. Silveira has 20 assists during his career to go with 13 goals in the Green and Gold. The senior forward is three goals from moving into tenth place on HSU's career goals list. He is three assists from moving past Paul Royere into fourth on HSU's single season assists list.
Adrian Gallardo is tied for second on HSU's single season shutout list with six and three away from being HSU's all-time single season leader.
STANISLAUS STATE: The Warriors are 5-5-1 overall and 1-3 in the CCAA. Julian Madrigal leads the Warriors with his five goals and three assists while Dayna Sturtevant has five goals and one assist including two game-winning goals. Sebastian Castellanos has posted a 1.99 goals against average in goal with a .694 saves percentage and two shutouts this season for the Warriors. The Warriors lead the all-time series between the two teams 15-4-1 with the 'Jacks defeating Stanislaus State 3-0 in Arcata in 2019. Current assistant coach,
Isaiah Dairo, along with
Cole Falco and
Devin Hauenstein scored the goals for HSU while
Motoki Sato assisted on Falco's goal. HSU last won in Turlock, 3-1 in 2016.
CAL STATE EAST BAY: The Pioneers are 2-7-1 overall and 1-3 in the CCAA. They are led by Josh Garcia's three goals and one assist including a game-winner. Keleekolio Mateo Jr., has a 2.84 goals against average with 56 saves for the Pioneers. Humboldt State leads the all-time series with Cal State East Bay 8-4 including winning the last three meetings in a row. HSU defeated the Pioneers in 2019 in Arcata.
Marco Silveira had two assists for the 'Jacks while Coach Dairo scored two of HSU's four goals. They last in Hayward in 2017 2-1 in overtime when Dairo connected on a ball from Silveira in the 105th minute.
