NEW ORLEANS---The Cal Poly Humboldt Women's Cross Country duo of
Rosa Granados and
Saedy Williamson were 2021 United States Track & Field Cross Country Coaches Association(USTFCCCA)/NCAA Division II Women's Cross Country All-Academic Athletes. Both of the Cal Poly Humboldt men's and women's cross country teams, coached by
Jamey Harris, were named 2021 USTFCCCA Cross Country All-Academic Teams.
Granados and Williamson were two of the 357 women from 104 different institutions who were named All-Academic Athletes for their efforts during the 2021 season.
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, student-athletes must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top-30 percent of their respective regional championship meet, among other qualifiers.
The Lumberjack women were one of 111 programs and the Humboldt men were one of 98 programs that received this honor this year.
In order to qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period and compile a team score at their respective regional championship meet, amon
