BILLINGS, Mont. – Cal Poly Humboldt's freshman sensation,
Artana Nice, capped off her debut season with an impressive All-West Region accolade, placing 18th overall at the NCAA Division II West Region Cross Country Championships held at Amend Park in Billings, Montana. Nice's standout performance marked her as the top freshman finisher in the highly competitive West Region, completing the 6k course in 21:37.6.
Competing against elite athletes from across the region, the Cal Poly Humboldt women's team placed 24th overall of 28 teams, demonstrating resilience on the challenging course. Nice's finish continues to solidify her status as a rising star within the conference and region, adding to her list of achievements in an already remarkable season.
