Jacks Fall to Coyotes, 1-0

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif.--- The Cal Poly Humboldt Lumberjacks failed to find the net, as the team fell to Cal State San Bernardino 1-0 on Friday afternoon at Premier Field. Kelsey Bess, Erin Mohr, Emilie Wallin, Megan Janikowski, Rhea Chan, Jysabella Tolentino, Abby Borg and Frida Duran Arellano all had shot attempts for the Jacks. Carson Thomson-Terrel recorded four saves in the loss.

 

The Coyotes outshot the Jacks 16-8 and also held advantage in corner kicks 8-4. The loss drops Humboldt (5-4-4, 2-2-3 CCAA) to eighth in the conference, currently two spots and two points out of the sixth and final CCAA playoff position. 

 

The Jacks will finish off their final roadtrip of the regular season with an 11:30am matchup against Cal State San Marcos (6-5-3, 4-2-1 CCAA)  on Sunday, Oct. 16 in San Marcos, Calif.
