COACH'S COMMENTS
"The Jacks came out ready to compete today, setting a whole bunch of new personal records, and competing head to head with DI programs for scoring positions in the meet," said head coach Sarah Ingram.  "Overall the men's team came out in second place, only behind Seattle University, and the women's team finished in sixth place with only eight women competing. The depth that the men showed earning points in the distance races and the throws today really elevated the teams standing. It was good to see everybody compete with poise this weekend against DI schools, and still come away with so many top scoring places and new best marks. The team's confidence is building weekend by weekend, and momentum is on our side."

OTHER TEAMS
Besides Humboldt, Western Oregon University was the other Division II school to participate in today's OSU PNW Invitational.   The University of Oregon, Oregon State University and Seattle University were the three Division I schools that competed today along with Division III schools in George Fox and Linfield along with Willamette.

UP NEXT
The Jacks will return home to Redwood Bowl this coming Saturday, March 26 when they host the Humboldt Invitational.
