ARCATA, Calif.--- Cal Poly Humboldt men's and women's track and field teams will continue their 2022 season in the Bay Area this Thursday-Saturday, March 31-April 2. The Jacks will compete in the Chabot College Invitational on Thursday, March 31 in Hayward, Calif. They will travel to San Francisco on Friday-Saturday, April 1-2 when the Jacks participate in the Mike Fanelli Classic on the campus of San Francisco State University.
RECAP OF LAST MEET: Humboldt had 59 top-five finishes at the Humboldt Invitational on Saturday at Redwood Bowl. Of those, five Lumberjacks finished in first in seven events. Aris Valero won the 800 and 1500-meter runs.

Shane Oliver captured the 400-meter hurdles. As a team, the Jack men captured the Humboldt Invitational and the women finished in second place out of six teams.

THIS WEEK: Cal Poly Humboldt will travel to the Bay Area for the Lumberjacks' next two competitions of the 2022 season. The Jacks will be in Hayward, Calif., this Thursday, March 31 at the Chabot College invitational, where the throwers will be competing. This Friday-Saturday, April 1-2, Humboldt will be at San Francisco State University where the distance runners, sprinters, hurdlers, jumpers and vaulters will be competing at Cox Stadium.
UP NEXT: The Jacks will take compete in two invitationals in the Valley. They will be in Turlock on April 6-7 as the multi-athletes will compete in the Stanislaus State Multi-Event. Humboldt will travel to Sacramento to compete in the Sacramento State Invitational on April 9.
