"Overall, I think that we had a great first race," stated head coach Matt Weise. "We were looking to make our new boat line-ups begin to act as cohesive units. We also looked to gain energy from race day nerves and target these into our rowing. I think that all of the crews feel like they accomplished these missions and will allow us to advance in our racing when we get back on the water tomorrow morning."
Cal Poly Humboldt returns to the waters tomorrow at the Port of West Sacramento for the Davis Invite. Races are set to begin at 9:30 a.m.
