Head Coach Chris Tifft speaks with the team huddle during a timeout of a home basketball game

ARCATA, Calif. — Cal Poly Humboldt Men's Basketball continues to make its mark in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA), finishing the season ranked among the top offensive programs in the conference.

The Lumberjacks led the CCAA in field goal percentage, shooting 47.6% from the floor, showcasing their efficiency throughout the year. Humboldt also proved strong at the free throw line, converting 75.3% of their attempts—good for second in the league.

Humboldt's offense was consistently potent, averaging 77.3 points per game, placing them third in the CCAA in scoring offense. From beyond the arc, the 'Jacks ranked fourth, connecting on 35.1% of their three-point attempts.

Complementing their scoring prowess, the Lumberjacks also excelled on the boards, ranking fourth in offensive rebounds with 11.0 per game, often creating second-chance scoring opportunities that swung momentum in key contests. They also finished fourth in scoring margin, outscoring opponents by an average of 3.7 points per game.

The offensive success helped fuel several marquee wins throughout the season and sets a strong foundation as the program prepares for another competitive campaign in 2025–26 under head coach Chris Tifft and assistant coach Brandon Billups.
