Humboldt will feature one of the youngest rosters in the CCAA this season under head coach Angela Spoja, with 19 student-athletes—13 of whom are new faces. The incoming group includes 11 freshmen and two transfers, who will look to make an immediate impact in one of the nation's most competitive Division II volleyball conferences.
Among the six returners, the Lumberjacks are led by their lone senior, Sophia Spoja. She is joined by Graysen Trupp, Brielle Wilson, Amelia Perla, Hollis Downing, and Sadie Scott, giving Humboldt a core of returners ready to guide a roster filled with fresh talent.
The Lumberjacks will open their 2025 campaign on Thursday, September 4 in Hawai'i, where they will play four matches in three days against Chaminade, University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS), Hawai'i Hilo, and Hawai'i Pacific.
