ARCATA, Calif. - The Cal Poly Humboldt volleyball team returns to Lumberjack Arena this weekend for its lone match of the week, hosting Cal State Dominguez Hills on Saturday, Oct. 10. First serve is scheduled for 1 p.m. The match will serve as Humboldt's BIG Game Green Out and Parents Weekend, where wearing green is encouraged. Parents and families are also encouraged to join the team postgame at Six Rivers Brewery in celebration of Lumberjack Weekend.

The Lumberjacks enter the weekend with a 7-7 overall record and a 2-4 mark in CCAA play. Humboldt is 5-2 inside Lumberjack Arena this season.

LAST TIME OUT

Humboldt faced two conference opponents on the road last weekend, falling in straight sets to No. 12 Cal State San Bernardino and Cal State San Marcos.

The Lumberjacks dropped Friday's match in San Bernardino by set scores of 25-20, 25-9 and 25-19. Humboldt then fell to Cal State San Marcos by scores of 25-18, 25-22 and 25-14.

Graysen Trupp continues to lead the Jacks offensively with 152 kills and a .304 hitting percentage. Avary Spoja follows with 99 kills, while Phoebe Bland has recorded a team-high 40 total blocks.

Claire Crawford leads Humboldt with 247 assists, and Brielle Wilson has added 194. Elizabeth Jade Andrade anchors the back row with 223 digs and is tied with Crawford for the team lead with 12 service aces.

GREEN OUT MATCH AGAINST TOROS

Cal State Dominguez Hills enters Saturday's match with a 2-13 overall record and a 1-5 mark in conference play.

The Toros earned victories over Stanislaus State and UC Merced earlier this season. Their conference win came in five sets against the Warriors on Sept. 12.

Cal State Dominguez Hills is hitting .119 through 15 matches and has recorded 513 kills, 604 digs and 72 total blocks. The Toros are coming off consecutive road losses against Cal State San Marcos and Cal State San Bernardino.

Saturday's contest begins a stretch of three consecutive home matches for Humboldt.
