SPOKANE, Wash. – The Cal Poly Humboldt women's track & field team put together a strong three-day showing at the Riverfront Invitational & Multis indoor meet, highlighted by personal bests in the pentathlon, NCAA Division II marks, and a standout 4x400 relay to close out the weekend.
Day 1 – Thursday
The Lumberjacks opened the meet with promising momentum in the women's pentathlon, led by Cocome McKamey, who delivered steady performances across the first three events.
McKamey clocked 9.02 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles, cleared 1.52m (4-11.75) in the high jump, and posted a throw of 10.65m (34-11.25) in the shot put, establishing early-season benchmarks and setting the tone for the weekend.
Day 2 – Friday
Friday featured continued improvement across the track and field events, with multiple Lumberjacks posting personal bests and nationally-ranked marks.
Isabel Perez-Zoghbi turned in a standout performance in the 800 meters by clocking 2:07.74, a new NCAA #77 and DII #5 time and marking a personal-best effort to win the event. Matilda Fitzgerald followed with her own personal best of 2:32.70 in the same event.
On the track, Brielle Jimerson ran a personal-best (#2 indoor-program record) 25.24 in the 200 meters, with Caitlyn Dougherty close behind at 25.37. Mia Roberts added a 26.32 in the 200m.
In the field events, Lily Shadden cleared 1.58m (5-2.25) in the high jump, while Dougherty set a personal record with a 1.48m (4-10.25) clearance. The shot put saw Sophie Coil post a personal-best and indoor-program record 11.39m (37-4.5), and Laura White added 10.39m (34-1.25). Marielle Winuk threw 12.43m (40-9.5) in the weight throw.
Day 3 – Saturday
Humboldt closed the Riverfront Invitational & Multis with a strong final day, highlighted by personal bests, DII marks, and a standout relay performance.
Caitlyn Dougherty ran a personal-best 57.36 in the 400 meters to place fifth, marking a new indoor-program record, earning a DII #81 mark. Brielle Jimerson added a season-best 59.97, while Mia Roberts ran 1:03.17. Matilda Fitzgerald turned in a strong 1:47.30 in the 600 meters.
On the pole vault, Katarina Muellerleile cleared 3.15m (10-4) to lead the field. Dougherty also competed in the 60-meter hurdles prelims with a 9.51, while Kelsi Lytle ran 7.94 in the 60 meter dash and Roberts posted a 8.13 personal-best.
The meet concluded with a dominant showing in the 4x400 relay, as the Humboldt quartet of Dougherty, Jimerson, McKamey, and Perez-Zoghbi ran 3:52.06 to place 4th, which was a new DII #30 mark and new indoor-program record.

Next weekend, the Lumberjacks will continue their indoor season with a visit to Allendale, Mich. for the GVSU Big Meets, a two-day, two-meet schedule, starting on Friday, Feb. 13.
