ARCATA, Calif. - Three Cal Poly Humboldt women's track & field student-athletes earned 2026 U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic honors, while the Lumberjacks were also recognized as a USTFCCCA All-Academic Team after posting a 3.45 cumulative team grade point average.
Leading Humboldt's individual honorees was
Isabel Perez-Zoghbi, a sophomore chemistry major who compiled a 3.99 GPA. She was joined by
Caitlyn Dougherty, who earned the distinction with a 3.72 GPA while majoring in kinesiology and
Cocome McKamey, a junior psychology major who posted a 3.70 GPA. The trio was among the NCAA Division II student-athletes recognized by the USTFCCCA for excellence both in competition and in the classroom.
As a team, the Lumberjacks recorded a 3.45 cumulative GPA to earn USTFCCCA All-Academic Team honors. The award recognizes NCAA Division II programs that achieve at least a 3.00 cumulative team GPA, highlighting the program's commitment to academic success alongside its accomplishments on the track.
The recognition adds to another strong academic year for Cal Poly Humboldt women's track & field, with the Lumberjacks continuing to demonstrate excellence in the classroom while competing at a high level throughout the indoor and outdoor seasons.
