ARCATA, Calif. – Cal Poly Humboldt track & field student-athlete Isabel Perez-Zoghbi has been named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Team, recognizing her outstanding achievements in both the classroom and in competition.

The CSC Academic All-District® program honors student-athletes who demonstrate excellence academically while competing at a high level in their respective sports. Perez-Zoghbi's selection continues an exceptional year in which she established herself as one of the nation's premier middle-distance runners while maintaining excellence in the classroom.

Perez-Zoghbi capped a historic outdoor season by finishing NCAA Division II National Runner-Up in the women's 800 meters, clocking a school-record time of 2:02.95. During the 2025-26 campaign, she also claimed CCAA championships in both the 800 meters and 3,000-meter steeplechase, earned USTFCCCA All-Region honors, and became one of the most decorated student-athletes in Cal Poly Humboldt track & field history.

A chemistry major with minors in physics and kinesiology, Perez-Zoghbi's Academic All-District recognition reflects the balance of academic excellence and athletic success that defines the Lumberjack student-athlete experience.

With her Academic All-District selection, Perez-Zoghbi advances to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot, where First, Second, and Third-Team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on July 15.
