ARCATA, Calif. — Cal Poly Humboldt women's rowing continues to make waves on the national stage, as the Lumberjacks' Varsity 8+ crew has been named the Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC) Crew of the Week for the second time this season.

The honor comes after a dominant performance at the Northwest Collegiate Rowing Championships in Vancouver, Washington, where Humboldt opened Saturday morning with a statement victory in the Women's Varsity 8+ race. The crew's performance set the tone for the regatta and reinforced Humboldt's position among the nation's elite Division II programs.

The v8 coxswain, Giania Bogacki, has really elevated her performance and leadership within the boat."
