ARCATA, Calif. – Cal Poly Humboldt head cross country coach
Michael Schroer and the Lumberjacks have announced the program's 2026 schedule, featuring 5 regular-season meets, including the season-opening and home-opening Jim Hunt Invitational, as well as the CCAA Championships hosted by Cal State San Bernardino.
The 2026 slate opens with the Jim Hunt Invitational, hosted by the Lumberjacks at Beau Pre Golf Course, as Humboldt prepares for the rest of the regular season.
The away schedule begins two weeks later with the Mike Johnson Classic in Monmouth, Ore. The week after, Cal Poly Humboldt will stay in Oregon as they make their way to Willamette, Ore. for the Charles Bowles Invitational on Oct. 3.
Upon return to California, the Jacks will head to the Bay Area to compete at the SF State Invitational on Oct. 9 as well as the Santa Clara-hosted Bronco Invitational a week later on Oct. 17.
Humboldt will then compete at the 2026 CCAA Championships in San Bernardino, Calif. on Nov. 7 for a chance to advance further into the postseason and qualify for the NCAA West Regional Championships in Sacramento, Calif. on Nov. 21 as well as the NCAA D-II National Championships, hosted by Kansas University on Dec. 4.
