ARCATA – After dropping two straight conference games to nationally ranked opponents, the Humboldt State women's soccer team will be looking to regain its form on the road against Cal State Dominguez Hills Friday at 4:30 p.m. The Jacks will the wrap up their Southern California roadtrip against UC San Diego at noon Sunday.
Head-to-Head: The Jacks have only beaten Cal State Dominguez Hills once in four meetings, with the Toros beating HSU 2-1 last season. ...Humboldt State is 0-1-2 against UC San Diego, the most recent result a 0-0 tie last year.
Cumbo's Comments: “This conference is tough and you need to continually show improvement throughout the season,” said Humboldt State head women's soccer coach Andy Cumbo. “Both Dominguez Hills and UC San Diego are very strong at home. We need to be more comfortable offensively and within our system that we have, we need to improvise more often.”
