ARCATA, Calif. – Cal Poly Humboldt women's basketball will take the court for preseason exhibition action early next week at Lumberjack Arena. The 'Jacks welcome Simpson University on Monday, Oct. 27 at 5:30 p.m. PT. The contest provides the Lumberjacks with valuable early-season experience as they prepare for the 2025–26 campaign.
LAST TIME OUT
Monday's exhibition marks the first official competition of the 2025-2026 campaign for the Lumberjacks. Humboldt gained valuable preseason experience focusing on offensive flow, defensive positioning, and integrating new players into key rotations.
OPPONENTS
Simpson University enters the matchup with an experienced roster from the NAIA, offering a competitive test for Humboldt as the team looks to establish its identity and balance for the regular season.
UP NEXT
The women will turn their focus to preparing for their regular season opening tournament at the CCAA/GNAC Crossover at Lumberjack Arena on Friday, Nov. 14 against Northwest Nazarene and Saturday, Nov. 15 against Central Washington on Native American Heritage Night.
