ARCATA, Calif--- Humboldt State women's soccer team will finish its 2021 regular season campaign this Thursday, November 4 with a 2pm match-up with the Chico State Wildcats at University Soccer Stadium on the campus of Chico State University. This will be the second match-up between the two rivals with the 'Jacks tying the Wildcats earlier this season in Arcata on September 25.
COACHING STAFF: Coach
Grant Landy will begin his second season at the helm of the Lumberjack women's soccer program after coaching for 23 years at Concordia University-Portland. During his career, Landy has compiled a 393-93-41 record for a .785 winning percentage. He will be assisted by Lumberjack Alum
Taylor McMillin, who is in her fourth season as the top assistant for the women's soccer team.

RECAP OF LAST WEEKEND: The Lumberjacks went 1-1 in their two matches on the road in Southern California this past weekend. Humboldt State started the weekend with a 1-0 win at Cal Poly Pomona on Friday afternoon.
Clara Lenihan scored on unassisted goal in the 75th minute for what proved to be the game-winner for the 'Jacks.
Marisol Camargo had six saves in goal for HSU in her first start of the season. HSU lost 1-0 at Cal State Los Angeles on Sunday when the Golden Eagles scored the game-winner in the 61st minute. Camargo had a season high eight saves for HSU including one on a Golden Eagle penalty kick attempt. Humboldt State is 4-9-4 overall and 1-7-2 in the CCAA.

Kendal Spencer and
Clara Lenihan lead the way for the 'Jacks with their four goals, one assist and nine points. Spencer leads Humboldt State with her two game-winning goals.
Kelsey Bess and
Baylee Groom each have scored one goal for the Lumberjacks while recording two assists right behind them is
Brooke Weese with two goals.
Alexis Aguilar has posted a 1.11 goals against average with a .785 saves percentage. She has three shutouts and 62 saves.
Marisol Camargo has a 1.14 goals against average with a .850 saves percentage, 17 saves and one shutout.
CAMARGO:
Marisol Camargo posted 14 saves and her first shutout in Humboldt State's 1-1 weekend in Southern California. She had her first start in the Green and Gold in HSU's 1-0 win at Cal Poly Pomona on Friday. Camargo had six saves while she faced 12 shots en route to her first shutout. She came back on Sunday to record a season high eight saves including one on a Golden Eagle penalty kick in the 'Jacks 1-0 loss at Cal State Los Angeles. For the weekend, she had a .933 saves percentage with 14 saves and a .500 goals against average.
CCAA LEADERS: Three Lumberjacks are in the top ten in the CCAA in seven statistical categories in
Alexis Aguilar,
Clara Lenihan and
Kendal Spencer. Aguilar is fourth in saves per game, fifth in total saves, ninth in shutouts and tenth in goals against average and saves percentage. Lenihan and Spencer are tied for ninth in goals scored while Spencer is tied for seventh in game-winning goals.
CHICO STATE: Chico State enters Thursday's match with Humboldt State with a 9-2-5 overall record and a 5-1-4 CCAA record. The Wildcats are in fourth place in the CCAA standings with 19 points. They could move up to first with a win over the 'Jacks on Thursday and some help. They went 1-0-1 last weekend with a 2-0 win at Cal State Los Angeles and a 0-0 double overtime tie at Cal Poly Pomona. Susanna Garcia leads the way for Chico State with her six goals, three assists and 15 points. She also has a team leading four game-winning goals. Camillle Lidster is next with three goals, five assists and 11 points. Emma Hoffman has posted a .535 goals against average with 10 shutouts, 64 saves and a .877 saves percentage.
LAST TIME: The 'Jacks played to a 1-1 double overtime tie with Chico State on September 25 in Arcata. Sarah Emigh scored the Wildcats' goals in the 44th minute on a ball from Kylee Martinez. HSU tied the match at the 87:257 mark of the match when
Clara Lenihan scored off a pass from
Baylee Groom.
