Alex Cappa is a three-time All-American (2016 & 2017 - First Team, 2015 - Second Team) and three-time All-West Region/Super Region selection (2015-17). Cappa was named Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC) Offensive Lineman of the Year and a First Team All-GNAC selection in all four seasons that he played for the Lumberjacks (2014-17). The dominant offensive lineman was also invited to the Senior Bowl. Alex Cappa was selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the 3rd round of the 2018 NFL Draft, making him the highest draft pick to come out of Humboldt and play in the NFL. Cappa played for the Buccaneers for four seasons (2018-21) and was part of the team that won Super Bowl LV in 2020. However, he did not play in the Super Bowl due to an ankle injury suffered in the Wild Card Playoff. Cappa went on to play for the Cincinatti Bengals after signing with them as a free agent in 2022. Currently, he plays for the Las Vegas Raiders after signing with them as a free agent in 2025.
