Humboldt Athletics Hall of Fame
Gotshalk starred for seven years as an offensive guard for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League. After being selected as an All-American for Humboldt in1970m Gotshalk joined Atlanta where he was the player representative for three years and team captain in 1977. He retired in 1978 and is a cattle rancher and owner-manager of Gotshalk Enterprises. While at HSU he was a Doyle scholarship and Lions Club scholarship recipient. He was also given the Syd Kelly Memorial Award for academic achievement.
