Alyssabeth DeJerez was a standout member of the Cal Poly Humboldt track & field team from 2014 to 2017, earning national, conference, and academic honors throughout her collegiate career. A two-time NCAA All-American in the 400-meter hurdles, she also claimed All-West Region recognition and dominated the CCAA by winning both the 400-meter hurdles and 400-meter dash titles in 2016 and 2017. Her exceptional 2017 season earned her the title of CCAA Track Athlete of the Year. DeJerez graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Psychology and was named All-Academic every semester at Humboldt. She left a lasting legacy in the program, holding school records in both the 400-meter hurdles and 400-meter dash, ranking second all-time in the 200 meters, and placing in the program's Top-10 for the 4x100 and 4x400 relays, as well as the heptathlon.
