Humboldt Athletics Hall of Fame
Boggs was a football standout during his time at HSU. He received multiple NCAA awards including AFCA First Team All-American as well as AP Second Team All-American and Daktronics Super Region 4 First Team in 2010. Coming to HSU as a walk-on, he made First Team all-GNAC in 2008, 2009 and 2010. In 2010, Boggs was the lead blocker for the Lumberjack’s running game, which ended the season with a GNAC-best rushing 2,239 yards. He anchored a unit that ranked fifth overall among NCAA Division II programs for fewest quarterback sacks allowed, surrendering only eight in 11 games.
