Humboldt Athletics Hall of Fame
Trepiak first came to Cal Poly Humboldt, then Humboldt State, in 1981 as the Lumberjacks’ Sports Information Director, a position he held until 1985 and also from 1988 to 1991. He was awarded 23 national awards by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), including 12 Best in the Nation awards. He was the Associate Athletic Director responsible for the Athletic Development program, including 22 years as the coordinator of the Annual Celebrity Dinner & Sports Auction that raised $4.03 million during his tenure. Trepiak also was the compliance coordinator and interim Athletic Director at Humboldt during his career.
