Humboldt Athletics Hall of Fame
Self earned First Team All-Region honors during the 2006 season as she finished second in the nation in saves percentage (.904). The 2006 First Team All-CCAA honoree also was a 2005 First Team All-GNAC selection. During the 2003 and 2004 seasons, Self was named to the All-GNAC Honorable Mention Teams. She holds the Lumberjack career record with 25 shutouts and is first all-time with a 0.49 single season goals against average while she is second with seven shutouts in both 2003 and 2006. The four-year starter was a three-year team captain and led the Lumberjacks to third place (twice) and fourth place (twice) finishes in the conference during her career at HSU. Currently, Self is in her eighth year as a member of the United States Handball National Team.
