Brent Tocher was a national qualifier and an individual champion at the conference level in the 100 meter hurdles in 1997. He also finished third overall in the 400 meter hurdles and ran anchor leg on the conference champion 4x100 meter relay team. On the school record list, Tocher is first all-time in the 400 meter hurdles (51.92), third all-time in the 110 meter hurdles (14.67), and was the third leg for the all-time fastest 4x400 meter relay team in 1997 (3:13.74).
