Women's Basketball

While at Humboldt, Barbara Smith was on the field hockey team for three years, and played for two years on both the basketball and softball teams. She also served as the president of the Sports Coordinating Council. Smith, who received her bachelor’s in 1973 and teaching credential in 1974 from HSU, coached softball, basketball, and volleyball at Sonora Union High School.
