In 2017, Marissa was an All-American and National Champion in the high jump, jumping 5-9.75. She was also an All-American in the heptathlon. At the conference level, Marissa was named CCAA Female Athlete of the Year (2017), CCAA Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year (2017), was a CCAA champion in the heptathlon (2017), and a two-time CCAA champion in the triple jump (2016, 2017). Academically in 2017, she was a CoSIDA Academic All-American First Team recipient and awarded the Dr. Hal Charnofsky Memorial Award by the CCAA. Marissa's presence on the school record list include: first all-time in the high jump (5-10), first all-time in the triple jump (40-2.75), first all-time in the heptathlon (5,128 points), second all-time in the long jump (19-0.5), and fourth all-time on the 400-meter relay team (47.95).
