Katie Obemma made a lasting impact on the Cal Poly Humboldt softball program during her standout career from 2013 to 2016. A dominant force in the circle, Obemma was named a Second Team All-American in 2016 and earned multiple All-Region honors, including West Region Pitcher of the Year that same season. She was also a three-time First-Team All-CCAA selection (2013, 2015, 2016), a Second-Team honoree in 2014, and claimed the title of CCAA Freshman of the Year in 2013. Capping off her collegiate career, she was honored as the 2016 CCAA Female Athlete of the Year. Obemma helped lead the Lumberjacks to two NCAA West Regional championships (2013 and 2016), guiding her teams to a fifth-place national finish as a freshman and an impressive runner-up showing in her senior season. In the Cal Poly Humboldt record books, she ranks fourth in career starts (124), sixth in shutouts (19), third in innings pitched (838.2), second in saves (8), fourth in wins (96), fourth in strikeouts (578), and third in complete games (97). She also holds the program record for single-season saves (6) and appears in the top ten in several other single-season categories.
